Personal goals becoming a reality
I have been working in the building industry since I was a teenager. I have always worked hard and had specific long term goals for myself and my family. The work kept trickling in but my business was not growing, despite working long hours, and success in achieving my personal goals seemed further and further away.
Enlisting Graeme Owen as my business coach really turned things around. I have learnt about sales processes, marketing, how to organise and monitor my finances to name a few. My business has grown and I am now off the tools. We are a team of 7 and I now focus on working with clients, running team leaders and growing the business*. We are finally making a steady income and our personal goals are starting to become a reality.

Revenue from $900k to $3m
The Builders Business Coach helped us with business planning, systems and strategies, identifying key actions, organising and reporting. Our renovations and maintenance divisions are run almost entirely by capable managers and we are now focused on building a serious construction business. Our original dream was to grow a business large enough to get us off the tools. This happened long ago.

My Home Building Business Had Stagnated
My home building business had stagnated and I found myself buried in endless paperwork with difficulty commanding the profit margins necessary to create the cash flow and revenues I wanted.
I knew there were a lot of things I needed to do to improve my business but just never found myself getting around to it. I wanted to hire a coach that could hold me accountable and provide me with the right ideas and expertise to push me in the right direction and help me set and accomplish my goals.
I found The Successful Builder and have now been working with Graeme for about 2 months and can honestly say that I'm seeing a difference already. I've been more focused on working on my business rather than just in my business. Together we've worked on creating some new marketing strategies, a culture statement and have discussed my current and future employee needs and duties.
Although we are in the early stages I feel that the accountability of our weekly meetings is keeping my on track to end the year strongly and have a successful and prosperous 2018. It has truly been a pleasure to work with my new friend Graeme at The Successful Builder.

Fresh approach to sales
Recently we were preparing and presenting many bids, but not converting many of these into sales. The Successful Builder helped us learn a fresh approach to our sales process and we are now placing greater emphasis on identifying more clearly the needs of our clients and being with them when they make their final buying decision. Our conversion rate was 1 in 8, but I expect it to rise to 1 in 4...doubling my income.
